Birthday Club has since hit the ground running, already opening for major acts like Avi Buffalo with their full crew of Wells (vocals, guitar), Valeria Pinchuk (keyboard), Travis Peck (drums) and Josh Cobb (bass).
With excitement towards the release of their upcoming EP, Wells explains, “Lighten Up is a record that was written during a journey from one vision to another. It was written for people who could use a little help along the way. In short, it was written for ourselves.”

Dallas, TX – August 18, 2016 – Ishi has teamed up with All Things Go to exclusively premiere their new single “Bring The Thunder” today! The band is gearing up to release their new EP Juno, on September 16thJuno is the band’s fifth independent release and third EP of their catalog, featuring a collection of songs that range from funk, nu disco, and indie rock bathed in the gospel of Prince/LCD Sound System. Ishi teamed up again with UK artist James Marsh most known for his creative album concepts with experimental UK band Talk Talk. Listen to “Bring The Thunder” via All Things Go, here:
In 2006, Ishi was born as an experiment between friends in Dallas, TX. JT Mudd (lead singer, producer, writer) & Brad Dale (producer, writer, synth, guitar, bass) set out to create a sound that would redefine their own voice in modern day music. Their vision was to blend the classic, soulful story-telling and organic instrumentation of traditional folk music, with the infinite sonic possibilities offered through electronic production. Experimentation quickly evolved into a journey of sound that would ultimately lead to Ishi’s debut, Through the Trees (May 2010) and Digital Wounds (April 2013), along with the addition of Jonathan Merla (drums, percussion), Rocky Ottley (guitar) and Paul Escalante (guitar) to the band.
Ishi’s ability to successfully walk the line between an ambitious studio act and a multi-sensory live experience allows them to engage their audiences in an uplifting celebration of life. Their subtle undertones of inner-exploration combine to create a concert experience that is unequivocally one-of-a-kind. Each night, Ishi intends to create an entirely unique environment of mysticism, awareness, love and acceptance. Adored by fans and critics alike, there is no denying that Ishi is an immersive experience that everyone should discover.
As musicians who consistently use their music and live shows to uplift and inspire their fans, Ishi has decided to be leaders in the music industry by using their voice to improve the quality of life for those suffering from various cognitive diseases. 50% of all digital sales raised by the EP will go directly to Music Is Our Weapon‘s ongoing effort to provide personal music programs for those battling Alzheimer’s and dementia, PTSD, Autism, Parkinson’s and various other cognitive disorders. By providing caregivers with the tools and support necessary to serve those in need with access to the music they love, they will be able to simultaneously collect data to further understand the power of music as medicine.

She Shreds Magazine premiered the visuals last week, remarking, “Larkin Poe’s latest video, for the track ‘Blunt’ illustrates the raw power of the still emerging band.”

“Blunt” is taken from Larkin Poe’s critically acclaimed sophomore album, RESKINNED, which was released back in April. A fresh version of the original album, KIN, RESKINNED includes new re-mastered tracks as well as productions by Chris Seefried (Fitz and the Tantrums, Lana Del Rey), Justin Warfield (She Wants Revenge, Nico Vega) and Wax LTD (Muse, Bon Iver, Miley Cyrus, Maroon 5).

“’It’s mostly about living an alternative lifestyle,” explained drummer/vocalist Daniel Freiberg, “just going all the way even if what you like is not what is commonly viewed as the ‘right’ thing to do.” “Let it Rain,” the title track of Unconscious Disturbance’s forthcoming EP, is the third single shared by the band in anticipation of the full project’s September 1st. The song follows the high-octane visuals for their single “Eye to Eye” and their newest track Scream,” now streaming via Downtown Magazine.

With three lead vocalists and deep roots in Latin, jazz, funk and classical music, Unconscious Disturbance most definitely standout from the crowd. On their forthcoming project, Let it Rain, the band explained that “the EP talks about the freedom that comes with embracing individuality. Be yourself, love yourself, live life to the fullest, and respect people for who they are.” The EP was self-produced and recorded by Grammy-nominated engineer Luizinho Mazzei, whose past credits include Capital Inicial and Jota Quest. The new EP follows the band’s 2014 debut album, Shooting At The Moon. Unconscious Disturbance have received praise from PureVolume, All Music, UOL Brasil, AOL Music, Red Bull Music and more for their unique sound.

“Brazilian rockers Unconscious Disturbance have brought their funk-infused brand of alternative rock thousands of miles north to Brooklyn, and continue to impress. (PureVolume)” Since their first release in 2014, Unconscious Disturbance, comprised of Kiko Freiberg (guitar/vocals), Daniel Freiberg (drums/vocals), Tim Haggerty (guitar) and Danny Dahan (bass), have played over 100 shows across the United States, Canada and Brazil, the home country of founding members and brothers Daniel and Kiko. The four-piece recently headlined Palco do Rock, one of Brazil’s largest independent rock festivals and were also featured at Brazil’s Porão do Rock, sharing the stage with Muse and Suicidal Tendencies.

“Take Me Anywhere”

Watch it now via Twist Magazine HERE

August 30th, 2016 – LOS ANGELES – Pop songstress Kylie Hughes has premiered the visuals for her single “Take Me Anywhere.” Fans can watch the video exclusively via Twist Magazine HERE.

“The ‘Take Me Anywhere’ video takes you along on a road trip to some of my favorite places in California and even some places I had never been before,” Kylie Hughes told Twist Magazine. The scenic visuals offer fans a look at every side of Cali-living, with mountainside views in Malibu, a stop at Salvation Mountain and a nighttime romp along the Hollywood Walk of Fame. “I love being outside, I love camping and I love adventuring with my best friend,” Kylie explains, “Hopefully we don’t make anyone feel like a third wheel.”

Working with producer Mike Shimshack, whose previous credits boasts artists like Megan and Liz, Alexz Johnson, and Laura Bell Bundy, Kylie entered the music scene in 2014. Originally from Malibu, California, Kylie Hughes pulled inspiration from the laid-back lifestyle of her home state to produce her first EP. Her passion for spontaneous adventure and obvious musical talent quickly earned the songstress attention from fans and critics, landing features in ExaminerGood Day LAK-CAL TV, Music Connection‘s Hot 100 Unsigned Artists, just to name a few.

The Pepperdine graduate and California artist has many other musical accomplishments under her belt, having gigged both with her band and performed solo acoustic sets in numerous Hollywood hotspots (Viper Room, Hotel Café, House of Blues), and local clubs in and around Malibu (Malibu Inn, Sunset Lounge, Canyon Club). Additionally, the pop songstress also sang the National Anthem before a concert by John Mayer at the California Mid-State Fair; shared the stage with The Beach Boys in Thousand Oaks, CA and with Jewel in Napa, CA; played at the Cantinas Music Festival in Paso Robles, CA on a bill with Newsboys and MercyMe; and performed a duet in 2013 at Carnegie Hall with Michael W. Smith. The Malibu singer-songwriter has also shared the stage with Building 429 and Jesse McCartney, among others. Impressively, two of Hughes’ songs were featured in the 2013 film “Zero to 100: The Lakey Peterson Story”, and she performed her song “Paradise” at the film’s premiere in Santa Barbara, CA.

“Take Me Anywhere” follows Kylie Hughes’ previous video for her single “Never Ever.” For more information about Kylie Hughes, please visit:

July 26th, 2016 – Los Angeles, CA – Pop punk veterans SUM 41 are giving fans a sneak peek into the making of their hit single/video “Fake My Own Death”, with a behind-the-scenes video, premiering exclusively today on Billboard. Watch it here. With over 2.5 million views on the original video and praise from Billboard, MTVAlternative Press, Huffington Post, Mashable, Entertainment WeeklyLoudwire, Bustle and more, “Fake My Own Death” is the first taste of the return of SUM 41 and they did it in a big way.  SUM 41 proves that they are back and better than ever.

Directed by Marc Klasfeld, who previously worked with SUM 41 on their videos for “Fat Lip”, “In Too Deep” and “The Hell Song,” “Fake My Own Death” depicts the band performing on a rooftop in downtown Los Angeles, where all their worst nightmares –including Kim Kardashian, Michael Jordan and Donald Trump– come to attack them. Singer Deryck Whibley states, “The song is about leaving the past behind and moving on. With the video we’re making fun of pop culture in a similar tone to some of our past videos like “Hell Song” and “Still Waiting”. We’re basically saying, that in the middle of all this bullshit we’re just a rock band doing our thing.” Fans can watch the video now, here.

“Fake My Own Death” is the first listen off SUM 41’s forthcoming new album, 13 Voices, due out October 7th via Hopeless Records. The ten-track album marks the band’s first LP in five years, following up 2011’s Screaming Bloody Murder, which featured the Grammy Nominated song “Blood In My Eyes.”

With the upcoming release of this album we see SUM 41 as an impenetrable unit putting everything they’ve got out into 13 Voices. The result is a dynamic, impassioned collection of melodic, guitar wielding, rock songs. “I can’t say whether this is our best record or not, as I don’t know if it is,” states Whibley. “All I can say is I did the best I possibly could during the toughest period of my life”.

Whibley began writing for 13 Voices immediately following his four-month stint in the hospital. The frontman recalls, “I had to learn how to do everything again-my motor skills, learning how to play guitar again… I couldn’t even walk at the time. It was really difficult, but at the same time if I didn’t have a record to make, I don’t think I would have recovered as quickly, or even at all. Writing music gave me a purpose. I had to get better.” As Whibley’s health improved, so did his ability to write songs, and 13 Voices soon began to take shape being recorded, produced and engineered by Deryck Whibley at his home in Los Angeles.

SUM 41 just kicked off their summer run on the Vans Warped Tour. Tickets can be purchased, here:

SUM 41 consists of five members including Deryck Whibley, lead guitarist/backing vocalist Dave Brownsound, co-lead guitarist/backing vocalist Tom Thacker, bassist/backing vocalist Cone McCaslin and drummer Frank Zummo.

Listen HERE. “From What I Understand”, a song about working through all the trials of parenthood and marriage, is the second release from Anthony’s forthcoming album, Pixie Queen, due out September 9th on Memory Music. Specifically, Green says, “This song represents a time when in our relationship where we fought a lot and these moments in time didn’t feel good. It was difficult for us to spend any quality time together and having three kids, we were tired all the time. You go through these phases where you don’t see like yourself anymore.” The song is about working out all of those elements to stay in a happy and healthy relationship.

Produced by Will Yip and featuring contributions from Good Old War’s Tim Arnold and Keith Goodwin, Pixie Queen, a follow-up to 2013’s Young Legs, is an intimate and stripped-down effort, featuring raw lyricism and musical execution. Earlier this month, Green released “You’ll Be Fine”, the first taste of the album, which can be watched HERE. Fans can now pre-order Pixie Queen HERE.

This September, Green will be heading out on a month-long solo tour in support of Pixie Queen. Kicking off on September 2nd in Boston, MA and wrapping on October 1st in Green’s home-base of Philadelphia, PA, the “Pixie Queen Tour” will include 22 shows across the United States, with special guests Mat Kerekes and Secret Space.

Fans can purchase tickets and special VIP bundles now, here: For $50, the VIP bundle includes one general admission ticket, a photo opportunity, a signed 18 x 24 poster, a commemorative laminate, plus a three-song pre-show intimate acoustic set. For more information, please visit

Anthony Green first began his solo career in 2008 with the release of his debut LP, Avalon. Since then, he has gone on to release a handful of acclaimed albums, including 2012’s Beautiful Things, which peaked at No. 27 on the Billboard 200 chart, and 2013’s Young Legs, which charted at No. 67. This September, the Pixie Queen Tour will usher in a brand new era for the prolific musician.

Pennsylvania natives Green and Yip have been working together for years on music, so it made perfect sense for them to partner for the release of Pixie Queen. Yip had the vision of keeping everything under one roof, harkening back to the days of Motown, where the album was written, produced, mixed, mastered and released all within the same team. Memory Music is home to releases created in the legendary Philadelphia-area recording house, Studio 4. Yip, who has produced and engineered albums for Lauryn Hill, Title Fight, Circa Survive, Balance + Composure, La Dispute and Pianos Become the Teeth, launched the label in 2015 to highlight the community of artists he’s built around his studio and the overall vibe generated by the studio space. Each release reflects the uniqueness of Studio 4’s room and the way each artist uses it differently, creating varied albums that all carry a cohesive thread of their creative environment and Yip’s touch.
