‘131’ TODAY

“We don’t hesitate to proclaim Emarosa is better now than ever before”Substream Magazine

“’131’ shatters the mold the band previously sat in and stands out as a modern rock masterpiece

that delivers hit after heart-felt hit.”

“While ‘Versus’ felt more like a transitional album, ‘131’ is them fully realized;

armed with a more fitting sound and lineup.” –Soundfiction

July 8th, 2016 – Today, Emarosa released their highly anticipated new album, 131, via Hopeless Records. Featuring the acclaimed singles, “Cloud 9”, “Helpless” and “Miracle”, 131 has already garnered praise from outlets including, who calls the album a “modern rock masterpiece,” with many more reviews just the same. The band is making waves on Warped Tour all summer long where you can purchase the album at their merch tent or you can pick it up now on iTunes and MerchNow. When you get to Warped tour, just look up…you’ll likely catch singer Bradley Walden hanging from the rafters of whatever stage he is playing on.

131 was produced in Nashville by Casey Bates, who is known for his work with artists like Portugal The Man, Chiodos, Pierce The Veil, Memphis May Fire, Gatsbys American Dream and many more. During the recording process, the band made a conscious effort to throw all expectations to the side and record the album they always wanted to make, free of all external pressures. As a result, the record takes a pop-turn, reflecting Walden’s diverse influences, including Michael Jackson and Patrick Stump, while still retaining Emarosa’s signature grittiness. Fans old and new will enjoy the dynamic sounds of 131.

On 131’s evolved sound, Walden explores the boundaries of rock and infuses these epically charged anthems with an even fuller sense of grandeur than on past releases. “I’m so proud of this. It’s my favorite thing I’ve ever done. This is the record we wanted to make,” he shares.

Emarosa’s current line up includes Bradley Scott Walden, ER White, Jordan Stewart and Matthew Marcellus.

JUNE 21st, 2016 – KANSAS, America’s legendary progressive rock band, will release their intensely anticipated new studio album “The Prelude Implicit” on September 23, 2016. The album is the first new release in 16 years for the band that has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, and is famous for classic hits such as ‘Carry On Wayward Son’ and ‘Dust In the Wind,’ to progressive epics like ‘Song for America’ and ‘Miracles Out of Nowhere.’

“The Prelude Implicit” features 10 all new tracks written by the band and co-produced by Zak Rizvi, Phil Ehart, and Richard Williams. KANSAS’s signature sound is evident throughout the album. It showcases Ronnie Platt’s soaring lead vocals, David Ragsdale’s blistering violin, Williams and Rizvi’s rocking guitar riffs, the unmistakable sound of David Manion’s B3 organ and keyboards, Ehart’s thundering drums, and Billy Greer’s driving bass and vocals.

KANSAS returned to the studio in January 2016 after signing with Inside Out Music. Says Inside Out founder and president Thomas Waber, “KANSAS is the biggest and most important Prog band to come out of the United States. I grew up listening to them, and their music is part of my DNA. ‘The Prelude Implicit’ undoubtedly adds to their already impressive musical legacy. I can’t stop listening to it, and we are proud to be releasing the album.”

The result of the time in the studio was even more than the band imagined. “This is definitely a KANSAS album,” remarks original guitarist Richard Williams. “Whether it is the trademark Prog epic like ‘The Voyage of Eight Eighteen,’ biting rocker such as ‘Rhythm in the Spirit,’ or mindful ballad like ‘The Unsung Heroes,’ there is something on this album for every kind of KANSAS fan. After years of pent-up creativity, the entire band is very proud of ‘The Prelude Implicit.’”

Lead Vocalist Ronnie Platt adds, “Recording ‘The Prelude Implicit’ was an incredible experience, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. It is my hope that, knowing the intense listeners that KANSAS fans are, the continuity yet diversity of this album will be pleasing to them.”

The album title, The Prelude Implicit means, “Without a doubt, this is a new musical beginning,” explains Ehart. Tattoo artist, Denise de la Cerda, did the oil painting of the front and back cover. “It shows a Phoenix flying from the past into the future.”

“The Prelude Implicit” will be released September 23, 2016, on Inside Out Music and is distributed by RED. The album will be available on CD, Double 180 Gram Vinyl, and digitally on iTunes and Google Play. Pre-order opportunities will be available starting later this summer at and

May 26th, 2016 – NEW JERSEY Thank You Scientist have released the lead single from their upcoming album Stranger Heads Prevail today. Fans can now stream “Blue Automatic” exclusively with Substream Magazine at this link:

Reaction to the “Blue Automatic” has been incredible with fans crashing the Substream site within minutes of the song going live.

On the new song, lead vocalist Salvatore Marrano and guitarist Tom Monda say – “This is a quintessential Thank You Scientist anthem about dealing with depression which includes, among other things, vocal injury and a near-death experience with Carbon Monoxide at our former rehearsal spot.”

Stranger Heads Prevail will be released on July 29th via Evil Ink Records. Coheed and Cambria lead singer, Claudio Sanchez says of the band, “Thank You Scientist is a rare band that stretches the boundaries of the listener’s expectation. Their compositions are a tornado of complexity and style that compel the audience to stay present for every note.”

Stranger Heads Prevail is now available for pre-order. To purchase and to check out bundle options, head to Additionally, the band has put together a very special announcement video, which fans can watch here.

Following the breakout success of their debut label album, Maps Of Non-Existent Places, the band set to follow one simple but resolute goal: no expectations. Constantly writing and with an intense rehearsal schedule, the band began crafting Stranger Heads Prevail together in late 2014 under the watchful ear of guitarist/primary songwriter Tom Monda.

According to Monda, musically the band wanted to make a rock record with multiple layers of compartmentalized detail, a la The Beatles “Abbey Road” or Queens’ “Night at the Opera”. “This record has a lot of attention to detail, which will hopefully keep people coming back for more. We wanted to make something that held up to both surface listens as well as tailor to listeners who are listening with a microscope of sorts. With more listens, I feel the songs unveil themselves more and more.”

Vocalist and lyricist Salvatore Marrano adds, “This is a deeply personal record for me, albeit positive, but I found myself continually needing to find the positive in all of the negative in our lives. We’re all just trying to sift through the bullshit to find a bit of hope.”

Stranger Heads Prevail Track Listing:

  1. Prologue: A Faint Applause
  2. The Somnambulist
  3. Caverns
  4. Mr. Invisible
  5. A Wolf In Cheap Clothing
  6. Blue Automatic

JUNE 2nd, 2016 – Sharp/Shock – the new band composed of UK exports Davey Warsop (Beat Union, Suedehead), Dan Smith (The Dear & Departed) and American drummer, Korey Kingston (The Aggrolites/Suedehead) have announced the release of their debut album, Unlearn Everything, which will be released this summer on Alkaline Trio’s Heart&Skull Records.

Today the band has premiered a brand new song and music video for “Away From The Man” exclusively with Alternative Press Magazine. Fans can check it out here:

“It is an absolute honor to welcome Sharp/Shock to the Heart&Skull family,” says Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio and Blink–182. “We started our label to not only put out our own releases but to also release music by people we consider close friends. Family. In a business that is growing exceedingly difficult to find true allies in, we are proud to offer a situation for artists in which the most important goal is to publish great art by great people. To have Sharp/Shock as our maiden partnership in this venture is something we have always hoped for but until recently, haven’t imagined. From the first time we heard their record we knew that they were a perfect fit. We are extremely thankful that they felt the same way. It is an amazing feeling to help such a great group of people put out this amazing record via Heart&Skull.”

Unlearn Everything Track Listing

For the members of Sharp Shock, growing up with the bands that defined music with an honesty and passion that can be rarely found in modern times, cleared a very obvious path for what they wanted to do with their own lives. Sometimes in music, the storybook tale of determination, sacrifice and despair can be thrown around hastily. To some, those three things describe a reality that very few can truly understand, and for the members of Sharp Shock, they are only a few attributes that make up their unique story.

May 27, 2016 – Brooklyn, NY – Brooklyn-based alternative folk duo The Bergamot are thrilled to announce that they will be hosting a benefit concert for Memorial Children’s Hospital in their hometown of South Bend, IN. The show will take place at the Morris Performing Arts Center on October 22nd, 2016. For more information or to purchase tickets, please visit:

On the upcoming show, the band shares: “Growing up in South Bend, The Morris Performing Arts Center has always been the crown jewel of our city. It’s where we went to catch shows the best musicians in the world were playing. The Morris is what dreams are made of, and we could not be more thrilled to grace the stage at such a beautiful venue. It’s a dream come true. Not only will it be The Unity Collective USA Tour’s Grand Finale concert, but also, with the help of our fans, we will be able to raise awareness and give back to Memorial Children’s Hospital in a big way. October 22nd, 2016 cannot come soon enough!”

In December, The Bergamot wrapped their highly successful The Unity Collective USA Kickstarter campaign, which surpassed its goal of $15,000 towards the band’s 50 State “Unity Tour,” raising more than 124% of the funds needed. The money raised is being used to maintain the band’s Volvo throughout the tour, in addition to documenting the entire experience and providing updates to fans along the way. Following the Memorial Children’s Hospital Benefit Concert the band will be auctioning off the Volvo, which has racked up 276K+ miles throughout The Bergamot’s history of touring and has been signed by fans across the country as a lasting symbol of unity.

Consisting of husband-and-wife duo Nathaniel Paul Hoff and Jillian Speece, The Bergamot arrived on the international music scene in 2012 when they won Bud Light Battle of the Bands. Since then, the band has seen their popularity surge, taking them from coast to coast and from continent to continent.

Drawing upon influences such as Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Joni Mitchell, The Dave Matthews Band and Bob Dylan, The Bergamot writes songs that are uplifting, catchy, and enchanting as Jillian’s velvety alto voice blends seamlessly with Nathaniel’s ethereal vocals to create dynamic harmonies. The band weaves intimate storytelling with articulate instrumentation, crafting an innovative indie folk-rock sound that combines both the joys and heartaches of life into a story. Since meeting in their hometown of South Bend, Indiana in 2003, Nathaniel and Jillian have released three albums and toured extensively across North America and Europe.

Thanks to their uplifting and infectiously sweet sound, The Bergamot has been taking the music world by storm – earning the affection and admiration of BuzzFeed, Daytrotter, The Aquarian Weekly, ICON Magazine, Chicago Tribune, Brooklyn Vegan, Kings of A&R, The Deli Magazine, and so many more, as well as a recent placement on ABC’s “Blood & Oil.” The Bergamot have also opened up for artists such as All American Rejects, Young The Giant, and Ben Sollee, as well as performed at SXSW, Taste of Chicago, The Traverse City Film Festival, and Bud Lights Port Paradise Music Festival.
