Louisville, KYJune 8, 2016Louisville rock band Dash|Ten have premiered their brand new single “Our Time Now,” here: The band is currently being featured via Vans Warped Tour as part of their “90 Days To Warped” coverage, and will be performing at all upcoming dates of Vans Warped Tour 2016.

On the new track, the band shares: “Our Time Now comes at a time when our generation has a lot on their minds – the digital world and its initiatives can be all-consuming. This track is a call to stand together. We have the power to make our era in history right, just, and beautiful.

Dash|Ten released their debut self-titled album, Dash|Ten on May 20th. The album, which features lead singles “What You Wanted,” “The Scene,” and more, detonates in tongue-in-cheek vivaciousness and demonstrative lyrics wedged over jagged, biting guitars and belligerent percussion. Dash|Ten can be streamed now via Spotify and will be available for free to new mailing list registrants this summer on the Vans Warped Tour, where fans can catch Dash|Ten on the Full Sail Stage. For more information, please visit:

Fueled and funded to enlighten concert-goers to the bigger picture of the U.S. Army, Dash|Ten could easily be confused for a shrewd promotion or a selling stake. Yet buried beneath their training and combined 40-years of active service in the armed forces, the collective, consisting of drummer Peter Greenberg, guitarist Steve Ebert and the enigmatic front-woman and chief songwriter Corrin Campbell, is categorically like most young bands, who’ve merged their lifelong love of music to create, record and release their self-titled debut, Dash|Ten.

However, the band’s unique military experience has equipped them with a series of distinctive qualities, irreplaceable and essential to the band’s vigorous charge and demonstrative framework. Driven by Campbell’s hindrances while trying to rebuild herself during a paralyzing period of her life, the songs echo her resolution to shove through the snags and thorns that slow us down. “People can feel stuck in life, and it takes a certain kind of energy to push through,” Campbell reflects on the makeup of the album. “The album is made up from my feelings, both positive and negative. It was reflecting on where I would go and how long it might take me to get there.

It Campbell’s candid emphasis and avid desire to flourish, combined with an overpowering drive to establish a sincere relationship with the world that powers Dash|Ten. “I want people to find us authentic,” Campbell admits, reflecting on the exceedingly “live from the floor” process in which the band recorded. “The album is meant to sound like when you walk into a garage where your favorite band is practicing. It intentionally lacks glitz and glamour. It is raw. We’re not out there to be a polished packaged item. There is a real story behind every song. There is real heartbreak behind every song. They’re very vulnerable and soaked in truth.”

Firestarter…is definitely ‘the next big thing’ in terms of pop punk.”

New Noise Magazine

“With a new pop punk band like Firestarter, comparisons to Real Friends, Man Overboard, and the like are inevitable and apt, but…Forget the Past can easily hold its own against both bands’ most recent releases.” – Under The Gun Review

Albany, NY – May 25, 2016Pop punk band Firestarter are thrilled to announce that they will be hitting the road next month for an East Coast tour with Living Means. The week long run kicks off in Binghamton, NY on June 21st, and wraps up in Stanhope, NJ on June 26th. For more information or to purchase tickets, please visit:

On the upcoming tour, the band shares: “We’re looking forward to getting back out on the road after taking a few months off and seeing some of the northeast we haven’t in awhile. Thrilled to be doing this with an awesome up and coming band by the name of Living Means and we are very excited to say we will be playing a brand new song off our upcoming full length at every date as well!

Have you ever just packed everything you own, and left somewhere you’ve known for so long and traded it in for the unknown” singer/guitarist Matt LaPerche croons on “49 Stow” – these are the words Firestarter was built on when LaPerche moved to Albany for a fresh start. The group, also consisting of Mike Held (guitar), Daniel Sheehan (bass), and Matt Bliss (drums), came together in the fall of 2012. They hit the ground running and haven’t stopped since. In just over two years, Firestarter has released three EP’s – 2013’s New Beginnings, 2014’s Forget The Past, and 2015’s A Life Inconsistent – a split 7” with Orlando’s Old Again, and toured the United States extensively in support of all of them. On top of that, Firestarter has shared the stage with the likes of Less Than Jake, Bayside, Senses Fail, Set It Off, State Champs, Transit, Hit The Lights, Handguns, and many others.

Firestarter has no plan of stopping now. After recently releasing a new digital EP, entitled A Life Inconsistent, recorded by Jay Maas (Counterparts, Defeater, State Champs), Firestarter looks to expand on their already growing fan base and continue their heavy touring regiment. Keep on eye out for a full length on the horizon and even more touring from the Albany quartet in the near future.

Rock Island, IL – May 9th, 2016 – Lissie has teamed up with HelloGiggles to premiere her new acoustic video for “Sun Keeps Risin'” today! “Sun Keeps Risin'” officially released on Lissie’s new album, My Wild West, on February 12th via Lionboy Records and Thirty Tigers in the US and Cooking Vinyl in the UK. Her most personal album to date, My Wild West is a fitting tribute to Lissie’s life in California, from her arrival as a fresh-faced singer-songwriter to now, leaving for the Midwest wiser and more self-assured. My Wild West represents both a new beginning and a return to Lissie’s Midwestern roots.  Watch “Sun Keeps Risin'” on HelloGiggles, here:
Lissie also recently teamed up with Glamour to premiere her music video for “Daughters,” which features footage from several charity: water projects from around the world! Lissie partnered up charity: water in support of International Women’s Day to raise awareness surrounding the non-profit’s mission to bring clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations. Watch the video on Glamour here:
Lissie’s two previous albums, 2010’s Catching a Tiger and 2013’s Back to Forever, both scored in the Top 20 of the U.K. charts and Top 5 in Norway, the former going gold in both countries. Stateside, the two releases hit the Top 5 in Billboard’s Heatseekers chart, peaked at #5 and #11, respectively, on the U.S. Folk tally and went Top 40 on the Indie chart. As she moves into the next journey, she says, “I feel I’m in a really good place. In fact, I’m already planning a follow-up album, My Mild Midwest.”

Philadelphia, PA – May 11, 2016 – Indie haze-pop quintet Cheerleader will be kicking off a North American tour this June supporting Eliot Sumner! The tour starts up on June 1st in Buffalo, NY and will take the band through 13 cities along the way. For more information, please visit:
Cheerleader released their debut album The Sunshine of Your Youth last year on Bright Antenna Records, which features new single “A Million Ways.” The album was recorded in Los Angeles with ten-time Grammy nominated producer Mark Needham, who is known for his work with artists such as The Killers, Walk The Moon, and Fleetwood Mac.
The hazy charm of Cheerleader first shimmered into existence at a Hartford, Connecticut middle school. Here, Joe Haller and Chris Duran cut their musical teeth in Duran’s parents’ basement, and their friendship and musical chemistry sparked a connection that survived the 2000s and colleges in separate states. Reconnecting in their hometown in 2012, Haller and Duran decided it was time to devote themselves to their music. “We sort of realized that, crazy pipedream or not, we owed it to ourselves to give it a shot,” Duran says.
On a whim, the duo moved to Philadelphia to start compiling new material. In 2013, Haller and Duran self-produced and recorded a three-song demo in their apartment in downtown Philly under the name Cheerleader. To their surprise, the release of that three-song demo on SoundCloud led to features in NME and Nylon, some radio play, and a slew of SXSW invitations. Doors were opening quickly, but the duo was suddenly faced with the technical challenges of recreating their music live with only two members. Haller and Duran already knew local studio manager and multi-instrumentalist Josh Pannepacker from Philly’s music scene, while mutual friends introduced the new trio to Carl Bahner (drums) and Paul Impellizeri (bass).
Cheerleader has since played alongside The Hold Steady, The Wombats, Knox Hamilton, Colony House, and Life In Film, with appearances at The Great Escape Festival, XPoNential Music Festival, SXSW and Firefly Music Festival. The band shows no signs of stopping, as they get ready to embark on their national tour! New York, NY – June 1, 2016 – Dreamy psych-folk songstress Alexa Wilding is teaming up with Paste Magazine to exclusively premiere her new video for “Eden” today! “Eden” is the first single to release off of Wilding’s new EP Wolves, which is set to drop on July 8thWolves was co-produced by Tom Beaujour, known for his work with Nada Surf, Julianna Hatfield, and The Mountain Goats. This highly anticipated EP will release via Wilding’s own Tiny Prism label. Watch “Eden” on Paste Magazine, here:
While Wilding is best known for her celestial folk (2009’s self-titled debut and 2012’s astral Coral Dust), her third album is eerily earth side. The six songs unfold as Polaroids, revisiting lovers past and life on the road before Wilding became a mother of twins in 2013. What the album does not directly address is the nightmare during which the songs were written, on a borrowed toy piano, in the hospital while her son underwent (successful) treatment for cancer. “It was fight or flight,” Wilding explains, “Instead of running away I retreated into song, to memory, making peace with the past so I could step up, ‘do like the wolves do,’ and fight for my family’s future.”
The bones of Wolves‘ songs were recorded live in one day, with Tim Foljahn (unmistakable on dusty lead guitar), bassist Jeremy Wilms and Brian Kantor on drumsThe result is a muscular, surprisingly upbeat pop panorama, over which Wilding’s matured vocals – think Natalie Merchant’s grace meets Hope Sandoval’s psychedelia – are free to explore heartbreak and resurrection.
Tagged as “one of music’s hippest chicks” alongside Florence + The Machine (New York Post), Wilding has been featured as one to watch in Bust Magazine, Dossier Journal, Nylon, Urban Outfitters, Page Six and Harper’s Bazaar amongst others. Her music reached a national audience while on tours with Au Revoir Simone, Ben Lee and Jennifer O’Connor, and overseas via her video collaborations with Ivana Helsinki. A native New Yorker, Wilding cut her teeth as a side woman in Int’l Shades, an art-rock project with former Pussy Galore/Sonic Youth drummer, Bob Bert and Live Skull’s Mark C. She lives and works in her native New York City with her husband and twin boys.
Alexa Wilding is gearing up to release her new EP Wolves on July 8, 2016. For more information, please visit:

SUM 41 Announces New Album 13 VOICES

SUM 41

Announces New Album

Will Be Released October 7th, 2016

Sum cd

Tracklisting Shared Below

June 6th, 2016 – Los Angeles, CASUM 41 are proud to announce their new album, 13 Voices, due out October 7th via Hopeless Records. The ten-track album marks the band’s first LP in five years, following up 2011’s Screaming Bloody Murder, which featured the Grammy Nominated song “Blood In My Eyes.”

On the album, frontman Deryck Whibley says, “I am really excited to be releasing an album after everything I’ve been through recently. This new music represents the journey I’ve been on throughout the process of making this record. I had to fall in order to rise, and nothing feels better than to have something you love that you had to really fight for. I can honestly say that 13 Voices saved my life and I cannot wait to share it with all of you.”

Whibley began writing for 13 Voices immediately following his four-month stint in the hospital. The frontman recalls, “I had to learn how to do everything again-my motor skills, learning how to play guitar again… I couldn’t even walk at the time. It was really difficult, but at the same time if I didn’t have a record to make, I don’t think I would have recovered as quickly. Writing music gave me a purpose. I had to get better.” As Whibley’s health improved, so did his ability to write songs, and 13 Voices soon began to take shape. Recorded, produced and engineered by Deryck Whibley at his home in Los Angeles, 13 Voices is now ready to be released this Fall.

Leading up to the album release, SUM 41 will hit the road this summer making their way across the US as part of the 2016 Warped Tour, beginning on June 22nd at the Road to Warped Tour in Anchorage, AK and wrapping on August 7th in Pomona, CA. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased, here:

SUM 41 consists of five members including Whibley, lead guitarist/backing vocalist Dave “Brownsound” Baksh, co-lead guitarist/backing vocalist Tom Thacker, bassist/backing vocalist Cone McCaslin and drummer Frank Zummo.

MAY 25th, 2016 – Emarosa have announced the brand new video for their single, “Helpless.” Directed by Megan Thompson, the video features actress, dancer, comedian and multimedia artist, Lindsay Ames (Tosh.0, Key and Peele, CW’s Beauty and the Beast and more), who choreographed the entire video alongside Emarosa frontman, Bradley Walden. Watch it here:

“Helpless” is the second single and video from the band’s highly anticipated new album, 131, which will be available on July 8th, 2016 via Hopeless Records.

“This is a song we’ve wanted to release for a long time. It shows some of the farthest reaches we went after on this record. It’s an absolute favorite and I really wanted to summon my inner Michael Jackson for this one,” shares Walden.

On 131’s evolved sound, Walden explores the boundaries of rock and infuses these epically charged anthems with an even fuller sense of grandeur than on past releases. The band has created songs primed equally for radio waves and stadium shows, in which Walden will sure to be hanging from the rafters.

131 was produced by Casey Bates, who is known for his work with incredible artists like Portugal The Man, Chiodos, Pierce The Veil, Memphis May Fire, Gatsbys American Dream, and many more. The album shares gritty rock tracks that seamlessly transition into cinematic soundscapes, fans old and new will enjoy the dynamic sounds of 131.

Emarosa will be performing all summer long on the 2016 Vans Warped Tour. Look out for their “90 Days To Warped” feature, coming soon, here:

5th Annual Summerland Tour

Lineup and Dates Announced

Set to Feature Sugar Ray, Everclear, Lit & Sponge

New York, NY – April 11, 2016 – The 5th annual Summerland Tour is proud to announce that Sugar Ray, Everclear, Lit and Sponge will perform at each date of this year’s acclaimed ‘90s alternative music tour. The Summerland Tour, previously heralded by Rolling Stone as one of the “10 Hottest Summer Package Tours”, kicks off on July 8th in Louisville, KY, and will include more than 25 dates throughout the US before wrapping on August 21st in San Antonio, TX. For more information, please visit:

Formed in 2012 by Art Alexakis, lead guitarist and vocalist of Everclear, the Summerland Tour has featured notable nostalgic alternative rock bands such as Soul Asylum, Eve 6, Space Hog, Gin Blossoms, Marcy Playground, Live, Fuel, American HiFi, The Toadies and Filter. Tickets for Summerland Tour 2016 are set to go on sale Friday, April 15th.

With tremendous excitement towards this year’s Summerland Tour, Alexakis explains, “This is the kind of line up I’ve dreamed of when I started the Summerland Tour. We kicked it off with Sugar Ray for the first year, so it feels great to have band join us for the 5th Anniversary. We love Lit & Sponge and cannot wait to share the stage with them. This lineup is stacked and this summer is going to be an adventure.”

Sugar Ray (

Sugar Ray was groundbreaking from the get-go, including among their ranks a real live DJ – incredibly, unheard of in a rock band at that time. Kicking off with 1995’s “LEMONADE AND BROWNIES,” the Newport Beach quintet unleashed a series of albums that Mark McGrath describes as “love letters to the music we loved, with no irony just pure enthusiasm.” 1997’s “FLOORED” saw the band refine its multi-faceted sound with the assistance of GRAMMY® Award-winning producer David Kahane (Sublime, Paul McCartney, The Strokes). The album proved Sugar Ray’s popular breakthrough, earning 2x platinum certification from the RIAA, fueled in part by the #1 hit single, “Fly.”

For over two decades, Everclear’s sound has reflected the rock, post-punk, and singer/songwriter influences of Art Alexakis, including acts like X, the Replacements, the Pixies, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, and Elvis Costello. The band found success with their first three albums on Capitol Records, Sparkle and Fade, So Much for the Afterglow, and Songs from an American Movie Vol. One: Learning How to Smile, which were all certified platinum.

Last year, Everclear released their ninth studio album titled Black Is The New Black via The End Records/ADA. Across the album, the insistent kick of drummer Sean Winchester, athletic groove of bassist Freddy Herrera, and ridiculously skilled guitar shred of Davey French join forces behind the storm of giant guitar riffs swinging mightily from song to song. A bit of tasteful keyboards from Josh Crawley add atmospheric punch to songs that could crush a tiny dive bar or destroy the cheap seats in the world’s biggest arena with equal force.

Lit (

A major player throughout the post-grunge boom of the late ’90s, Lit featured the combined talents of frontman A. Jay Popoff, his guitar-playing brother Jeremy, bassist Kevin Baldes, and drummer Allen Shellenberger. The group formed in 1990 in Orange County, California, where it initially performed metal-influenced music under the name Razzle. After changing their name, Lit began embracing a spunky brand of punk-pop that helped attract a local following in California. The group sold out local venues (including Club 369 in Fullerton) and issued two recordings: an EP, Five Smokin’ Tracks from Lit; and the full-length Tripping the Light Fantastic, which arrived during the spring of 1997 and became a college radio hit.

Sponge (

Sponge has proven to be one of the Motor City’s heaviest hitters after gaining international notoriety with their debut album “Rotting Piñata” (Sony). Emerging from Detroit with hits like “Plowed” and “Molly (16 Candles)” Sponge received massive airplay on radio stations from coast to coast and were in heavy rotation on MTV. Having shared stages the world over with Guns N’ Roses, Nickelback, Iggy Pop, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Kiss, to name just a few, Sponge continues to be one of rock’s most sought after live acts.
