WOUNDS, formed in 2010, is comprised of Aidan Coogan on vocals, James Coogan on guitar, Craig McCann on drums, and recent addition, Steve Lucarelli on bass. The group took its name from “Wound,” the starkly haunting cover art by Russell Mills from Nine Inch Nails’ album The Downward Spiral. This is the first and only band the Coogan brothers have been in, and has been through the war with them. WOUNDS has been the outlet to cope with all they have experienced, and is now no longer a choice, it is necessity. Tragedy and death punctuate the bands history, and over the course of 13 tracks their blistering debut album titled Die Young (Razor & Tie) encompasses this bold insight.
